Kansas City Disability Mentoring Day started 20 years ago as the local event recognizing Disability Awareness Month. In previous years it grew into two events, one on each side of the state line offering sessions on Job Searches, Entrepreneurship, Interviewing and Resume Help as well as Career Exploration with employers and networking with Service Organizations that can help the job seeker. Events are organized by local volunteers.

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We offer a variety of opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
The Disability Mentoring Day Kansas City (DMDKC) committee is grateful to the Employers, Service Providers and Government Agencies who support our work and mission. Each year we are fortunate to have an abundance of employers and service organizations supporting this Kansas City Metro Area event.
To become a sponsor, or receive more information, please contact Brian Ellefson at 913-239-9776, or email DMDinKC@aol.com. Thank you to The Whole Person for sponsoring our form registrations again this year.
