The Disability Mentoring Day committee appreciates your commitment to hiring individuals with disabilities. You are proving that individuals with disabilities are an excellent resource for valuable, dependable, and dedicated employees. Hiring individuals with disabilities will increase your customer base and loyalty, as well as employee diversity, ob performance and satisfaction.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Disability Mentoring Day (DMD) promotes employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for job seekers and students with disabilities through information sharing, networking and career exploration.

Greater Kansas City Disability Mentoring Day will be celebrated on:

• Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at MidAmerica Nazarene University, Bell Cultural Events Center, 2030 College Way, Olathe, Kansas.

Participating offers you the opportunity to show your commitment to hiring individuals with disabilities.

• Reserve a table for $200
• Special Prices for Small Businesses:  $50 – 30 to 50 Employees, $25 – Less than 30 Employees
• You can also support DMD by becoming a sponsor

Registration deadline is October 16th. Space is limited.

We are always looking for employers, especially HR Recruiters, to volunteer in the area of practice interviews, resume and application assistance at DMD. If interested, please contact me.
